I have been using the User Directory Manager Version 4.0 which was working fine but after I upgraded the User Directory Manager to version 4.1.4 I am now getting an error in the Grid View every time the page loads.
The Error: “There was an error processing the request”
I have tried reinstalling the module a few times but I get the same error.
Is there a way to see what is causing this or a way to resolve the issue?

Also, I am getting these errors with the UMS.
A critical error has occurred.
Value cannot be null. Parameter name: oldValue
A critical error has occurred.
Index was outside the bounds of the array.

It looks like after reinstalling User Directory Manager that seems to be working without errors. I also recycled the app pool and did a few other things.
One error left:
I just upgraded to DNNMasters.UMS_PA_02.00.08.72_dnn560 but the same error popup “There was an error processing the request” and I am using DNN 5.6.2.
Is there a manual or any documentation on UMS?

The latest is 4.1.8, please upgrade.

I upgraded the User Directory Manager to version 4.1.8 and that seemed to resolve all the issues with that module.

I upgraded the User Manager Suite (UMS) to version 2.1.0 but I am still getting the popup “Message from webpage" error “There was an error processing the request”. I could not find anything in the log viewer and the Scheduled UMS Tasks all succeeded. Also, the page with this module is very slow but that must be due to the errors.
Also, if I search for a user and select the users Roles that popup works fine but if I select Edit I get the error message below.

This is strange, I can't reproduce this and there are no reports about such issues from other customers. This version works on 5.6.2 and all testing is also done on this version.
Can you please test on another portal, preferably on different machine ?

Thanks for your message. I did install the UMS module on another DNN site and it seems to be working without the popup error. The DNN site I have been testing the module on is a development site but it is a copy of our production site. I will be upgrading the production site from DNN 5.1.4 to DNN 5.6.2 tomorrow and after that I can test the module on our production site.

5.1.x were buggy and it's most probably the cause of the problem.
The module is compiled on dnn 5.6.x and is certified to work on dnn 5.6+ only.
