Which PortalAlias Mapping Mode is best?

I recently installed SEO & Performance provider. I have several domain names aliased to my main domain. I have all aliased domains 301'd to my main domain inside the DNNMasters module.

When I choose Canonical, then type in one of the aliased domains in the browser, the DNNMasters message shows that the license has expired. In fact, when I use 'www' extension ahead of my main domain, I receive the same license message.

I then switched from Canonical to Redirect, and the issue disappeared.

So from an SEO perspective, should I be choosing Canonical or Redirect setting within the DNN portal settings?

Set dnn to use None because all handling will be done by the module.
