I have installed the module and checked to ensure that the settings match those shown in the help file that came with the module. However, when I submit the sitemap through Google's Webmaster Tools, it is being rejected. The status column has a big red X, and when I click on the link to the sitemap, it returns a bunch of errors saying pages don't exist. There are two dashes underneath the URLs submitted and Indexed URLs in Google's Sitemaps screen. I also opened the sitemap_0.xml file that the module created and also see that it isn't indexing any of our Ventrian News Articles, and we have well over 1,000 on our site. Could it be that I did not install the module correctly or I have it on the wrong page? The sitemap page is under the parent home page. Could I have an incorrect setting in Webmaster Tools? I'm a newbie at all this and have been trying different formats and combinations for hours. Can anyone point me in the right direction? |

I emailed you version 4.x. Please install after uninstalling the current version. It's better to use the web service instead of the XML file - you'll see in module options. |

Does it make a difference if we say portal or root? |

Shouldn't but why not use the web service instead and have the sitemap always up to date and avoid such dillemas ? |

Hi, I'm using version 4.01.04.90. My sitemap is also rejected, http error 500. I have enabled site map webservice. I have submitted the site map trough Webmaster Tools. Am I doing something wrong?

Can you navigate the links rendered by web service ? It'd be best if you could email site access to support@ for us to check. I'm using the module on this site for Google submission and there are no rejects. |

Problem solved. Gave support access to my portal and they looked into it right away. It came out that my site was in Classic Mode. The module works fine in Integrated Pipeline Mode. As I understand, they will look for a solution for Classic Mode. Great support! |

If you run IIS7 in Classic mode please comment out this line in "system.webserver " section
add name="DNNMastersGoogleSiteMap.Handler" path="DNNMastersGoogleSiteMap.axd" verb="*" type="DNNMasters.SEO.SiteMap.GoogleSiteMap.Handler.GoogleSiteMapHandler, DNNMasters.SEO.SiteMap"
