I was trialing the version 2.2 and it seemed to work fine.

When I uninstalled, it crashed my DNN Site.

This has put all development on my site to a halt, of course.

How do I repair this so my site can go online again?

Does this module allow an uninstall?

OK, I got my site running by restoring my backup files/database.

However, I cannot uninstall this module? Is it broke?

I, in fact, bought the newer version 3.1, and installed it hoping it would repair this.

Is this module broken where you can't uninstall once installed?

Edit: Sorry, didn't mean to be abrupt. I have bought modules from other vendors where there is no response.

It does allow an uninstall but it has to be disabled before that.
This is clearly described as ULTRA IMPORTANT in docs.

And as for the forum response - we do need to sleep for few hours from time to time....

I did not read the documentation, I never do. I will read them over. Usually, I just install/uninstall.

You did click Enable button and this changes the entries in web.config switching core providers to MPUS.
When you uninstall without disabling the dll's are not there anymore but the system still refers to them causing crash.
That's why the module saves a copy of original web.config so you can easily restore it in such case as yours.
Not reading docs is OK as long as you understand what's going on.
If you don't it's really better to do some reading first.

We make users aware of the potential issues in documentation.
