Internet Bandwidth
Servers have Internet access through multi-homed intelligent network service. The highly available
network draws upon multiple levels of redundancy:
- Local Access Redundancy – delivered over diverse local access providers
- Facility Redundancy – peering terminated at different facilities
- Provisioned Path Redundancy – monitored SONET-level provisioning
- Network Equipment Redundancy – multiple network routers/switches mitigate risk
- Multiple Peering Agreements – diverse internet peering: Level3, Global Crossing, UUnet
Server Configuration
Server configuration varies greatly depending on site and service requirements of the
individual client. Configurations are available from single site hosting packages to dedicated
load balancing server farms.
