Sample Case Study

We would like to present a simple Use Case showing possible scenario for the MPUS Pro module implementation.

Let us say that we have a main portal where all users are registered and which is the main entry point for the multiportal website.

There are several (hundreds) sub portals that contain specific content and should be accessible to all users.

Users should be able to login on main portal and switch portals without the need to login again (SSO - Single Sign On).

Administrators and editors from the main portal should have the same rights across all portals.

Users registered on sub portals should remain local and should only have local rights i.e. local administrator should remain local and not be shared or have any privileges on other portals.

In other words we want to share only users registered on main portal. The sub portal local users should remain local, the main portal administrators, editors and other staff should retain privileges across all shared portals. Roles from main portal should be also shared and applied on sub portals.
